Wrestling parents, we have come up with our Folkstyle wrestling season schedule. Please mark these dates on your calendars!

Your athlete must have a USA wrestling membership card to compete.

Tournaments are typically only $15-20. Most tournaments, you can pre register on trackwrestling.com

Your athlete must have the following gear to compete: headgear, mouth guard, compression shirt (rash guard), compression shorts or a singlet. It’s highly recommended that you purchase this equipment now so that they can start training in class with it.

For the state championship in March, your athlete does NOT have to qualify. It can be a multi day event depending on how well your athlete competes. Because the event is in Fresno, it’s recommended that you secure over night accommodations. Allot of times, families share an Airbnb.

3/8,9,10 State Championship Fresno

There are two floater dates. We will compete at one of these two events depending on if we get a minimum of 4 athletes.

11/19 Edison High School Stockton
11/26 Merced High School

*If we don’t get a minimum of 4 athletes to commit to one of these two dates, they will not be added to the schedule.

Entering your athletes in wrestling competitions is highly recommended. It will not only help them grow in skill and physical fitness, it will help them become strong willed and confident people.

If your athlete does not plan on competing regularly this season. We would urge you to at least get them to the local Tracy event on 12/17 to not only support their teammates, but this will give them an idea on how wrestling tournaments are ran.

If you plan on entering your athlete into any of the competitions, please let Coach Rob,  Coach Randy or Coach Brandon know so we can keep a tally.
